WE RESPECT OUR AMERICAN HEROES
At Steelwater Pools, we support the active duty, military veterans, firefighters, police, and first responders who sacrifice everything to protect us, our communities, and our country.
We have the greatest respect for these American heroes. To reflect our gratitude for their selfless commitment, we are donating one of our pools to Marine Corporal Scott Nokes.

Corporal Nokes was deployed twice to Afghanistan, assigned to ⅛ Charlie Company as a rifleman. In his second deployment, Corporal Nokes developed dysentery, which led to unresolved GI issues, sepsis, loss of vision, and the eventual amputation of both of his legs below the knee.
Before joining the military, Corporal Nokes served as a volunteer firefighter, and he once rescued a boy from a fire. Another time, he saved a fellow student while attending ROTC camp.
With the help of Tunnel 2 Towers, we contacted Corporal Nokes live on July 4th, 2021 on the Fox and Friends morning show to share our intention with him. Since then, we’ve been collaborating with Corporal Nokes to design his dream pool that will be delivered in spring 2022.
We believe swimming can provide our heroes a meditative sense of calm, a moment of complete distraction, and a place where they can simply step back from the world, take a deep breath, and relax. As our company continues to grow, it is our goal to continue donating pools to heroes just like Corporal Nokes.
